The Weber County Library system in Northern Utah has placed the book, Butternut to Bionic: A Resource Guide for Hip Replacement Surgery, in circulation at three of their branches. The Southwest Branch hosted myself and another author, S.K. Wenger, who writes children’s books, on December 6, 2025 in recognition of Utah Author’s Day.
This acquisition is a fairly prestigious step since the process of book acquisition is up to the discretion of the individual library, and not often available for an unknown author like myself who originally created this guide for a niche audience. I am extremely grateful and honored to see my book residing on a library shelf. This particular copy was found with a scrap of paper tucked inside…telling me that a reader(s) had shown interest. May future readers find these copies helpful and supportive on their journey to improved health.
