Butternut to Bionic will step onto the grounds at Red Butte Garden in Salt Lake City, Utah as I volunteer with the event sponsors at Antiques Roadshow. This PBS program has been a favorite for years - gaining tickets is challenging due to popularity and the lottery system…volunteering solves that dilemma! Spending the day as a volunteer provides behind the scenes views as well as 2 brief verbal appraisals (later in the day on June 3rd), breakfast, boxed lunch, snacks (which I politely declined unless they include fresh fruits and vegetables - my beautiful food will accompany me as always), and Roadshow merchandise (shirt, baseball cap, identification badge). My B2B book pin will be tucked in there somewhere…worn proudly.
